RUGBY LEAGUE: Wayne Bennett is widely recognised as rugby league's C[pounds sterling]master coachC[yen] but when he visits Rockhampton in October he will also be revealing the less public side of his personality.

The former Broncos and current St George Dragons coach will be in the city as a guest of the Cathedral College and will speak at a function held in the Robert Schwarten Pavilion, Rockhampton Showgrounds.

Too often the word C[pounds sterling]legendC[yen] is used but if any rugby league personality deserves that description it is Bennett.

Teacher at TCC Mel Clarke said while many would want to hear about Wayne Bennett the highly successful league coach, others would draw inspiration from other areas of his life.
