9pm: Vega's last-ever performance at O'Dowd's Irish Pub tonight.

9pm: Bottom Line will perform at the Criterion Hotel.

9am - 4.30pm: Keppel Baby Shell Club will hold its annual Shell Show at Yeppoon Showgrounds. Rare and beautiful shells, educational and scientific displays, craft and shell stalls, light refreshments. Adults $2, children 50 cents, family $5. Contact: 4925 0085.

2pm: Everyone is invited to the Rockhampton Woodworkers' Guild annual cent sale at the QRI Hall, corner Stanley and Denison Streets. 300 prizes drawn, with the majority wood-turned items.
