A ST Brendan's College dorm supervisor suffered a badly broken nose and nasty head wound after being attacked by a student on Monday night.

Police yesterday said the supervisor, 49, was shoved in the back by the student, 16, forcing his face and wrist into the ladder of a bunk bed about 7.15pm.

The supervisor required nine stitches to the face, suffered two fractures to his nose and also had his wrist watch smashed.

A police spokeswoman said the student had been removed from St Brendan's until the school made a decision about what action would be taken.

While the school's principal Simon Dash yesterday said he was unable to comment on this specific incident, The Morning Bulletin understands the student has been expelled and has left Central Queensland to be with his family.

It is also understood the dorm supervisor is considering his future at the school.

Police investigations are continuing. …
