6.30amCo7pm: Paradise Lagoons Campdraft events all day, including the Acton Super Beef first round, Supergirl Draft Round and the famous State of Origin match at 7pm.

8amColate: (all weekend) Join all the weekend Motor Mania action at the Rockhampton showgrounds with the Campco Group Motormani CQ Trade Fair, the Rocky Street Sprint, Off Road Display, Riding Display, Historic Speedway Cars Demonstration and DYNO Challenge. There will also be a historic motorcycle display and Speedway.

10am: Motor Mania pro-carts at the Fitzroy Raceway.

9amCo5pm: Rockhampton Porcelain Dollmakers will present a Doll and Bear Show at Rockhampton and District Indoor Bowling Association Hall, Kent Street. Entry is $5. Proceeds will go to Angel Flight. Contact: 4934 0155 or 4926 3305 for more info.

9.30am: To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the Blackwater Patchwork Group will hold an open day at Blackwater Uniting Church. Displays of patchwork, basket-making, crochet, orchid and foliage, art and beading. Items also on sale. Entry by gold coin donation, includes morning tea.

1pmCo4pm: The Australian Academy of tai chi, Rockhampton branch, will host a "Qigong and Tai Chi Co the real basics and benefits" workshop with AATC national chief instructor, Master Rod Ferguson at North Rockhampton Uniting Church Hall. Cost is $45. Contact 4936 1858 or 0401 469 397.

1.30pm: Glenmore Chapter OES annual cent sale at the Masonic Club, Rockhampton. Funds raised will support the wonderful work of local organisations and those in the wider community. Contact 4928 5146 for more details.

5pmCo9pm: St Andrew's Family Fun Night and Bush Dance will be held at St Andrew's, Gracemere, with line dancing, bush dancing and loads more. Entry is $12 for a family, $5 for adults/secondary and $2 for primary students. Contact 4933 2804.

6pm: Christmas in July will be held at Coco's Seaspray, Zilzie. Cost $60 a person, with $5 a person donated to Qld Parkinson's Society. …
