CALLOUS vandals spray painted and damaged more than 20 vehicles and houses in the Mount Lofty area at the weekend.

Geoffrey Street resident Sharon Farlow opened her front door on Saturday morning to see her husband's truck had been targeted with spray paint on the side of it as well as a puncture mark towards the back of the vehicle.

Mrs Farlow and her husband had heard noises during the early hours of Saturday morning but assumed it was the wind blowing things about in the street.

Mrs Farlow had no idea that she would wake up to such a sorry sight in the morning.

"I'm annoyed because now we have to spend our whole weekend cleaning up our truck," Mrs Farlow said.

"Our house is for sale and we are very lucky that our fence wasn't spray painted like others were in the street."

However, Mr and Mrs Farlow weren't the only ones in the street to have their vehicle damaged, with around 15 cars vandalised, several street signs torn out, several cars broken into and fences and street signs spray painted with offensive language. …
