PCYC boxing coach Russell Thomas believes one of his up-and-comers was C[pounds sterling]absolutely robbedC[yen] in a fight out west last week.

PCYC boxer Sam Nicol fought Kuang Kutah on Saturday night in Emerald and lost in a unanimous decision, which irked the Nicol camp no end.

C[pounds sterling]If it had been a split decision, we could have lived with that,C[yen] Thomas said.

C[pounds sterling]He landed the cleaner, better punches, and worked hard to get a result, so I don't know what fight the judges were watching.C[yen]

Thomas said he was not particularly happy with how his protE[umlaut]gE[umlaut] had fought, but felt he had done enough to take the win.
