YOU'VE got to love this time of year.

The winter season is winding down, finals are kicking, hitting and tapping off. And Tweed is well-represented in most codes. No matter what your sport, there's something for everyone, and you won't have to travel far to find it.

Rugby league supporters have a triple treat: they can cheer on the Tweed Heads Seagulls as they tackle Easts Tigers in their final Queensland Cup match for the season at Ned Byrne Field this afternoon (2pm), hang around to watch the Cudgen Hornets take on Grafton Rhinos in their NRRRL minor semi-final (also at NBF, 6.30pm), and then make the short trip north to Owen Park tomorrow to see the Bilambil Jets battle Southport Tigers in the GCRL preliminary semi-final (3pm).

Football fans can lap up a double dose of FFNC semi-finals today by first taking a drive south to Neilson Park to witness the Pottsville Panthers in action against Richmond Rovers in the Premier League's major semi (3pm), and then racing back up to Burringbar Soccer Fields for the minor semi-final between derby rivals Burringbar and Uki at 5. …
