Coach Has Clear Picture of Opening-Night Line-Up

FABIO CAPELLO today claimed he knows 10 of the side that will start against Bulgaria in tomorrow night's opening Euro 2012 qualifier, writes James Olley.

Key players have withdrawn from the squad through injury but the Italian insists he has a clear idea of his line-up at Wembley.

Phil Jagielka has been struggling with an ankle problem but trained this morning and the Everton defender is expected to start his first competitive international.

"The keeper ( Joe) Hart, (Wayne) Rooney, Steve (Gerrard), (Gareth) Barry, (Ashley) Cole, (Glen) Johnson, Jagielka, more or less. I know 10 or 11, with a little doubt about one," Capello confirmed.

"The training was really good, the players are okay and some problems we had in the last two days are getting better.

"Jagielka is fit, he trained well, there is a little bit of pain but I think for tomorrow he will be 100 per cent. I'm not concerned but I know that the central defenders will play for the first time together tomorrow. …
