Hitchens has been hinting for a while that another win may not be far away and he appears to have everything in his favour in the Whixley Stakes (3.45).

The five-year-old has won off a rating in excess of 100 in the past so he has to be considered weighted to win off his current mark of 96.

Although still winless in 2010, he has run a couple of decent races, none more so than when not beaten far into sixth in last month's Great St Wilfrid at Ripon. …
