Cook-off winners

THE cook-off that took place at the Spring into Skinner Street event on Saturday was hotly contested by South Grafton chefs Rick Worthing of Zack's on Bent Street, Jeremy Steele of The Naked Bean, Wayne Rush of The Australian Hotel and Matt Dobbs of Walkers Marina Hotel. The four chefs were given a box of secret ingredients and a barbecue and came out with some beautiful creations.

Jeremy Steele of The Naked Bean was awarded the top gong while Rick Worthing of Zack's on Bent Street came a close second.

Vines at 139 and Victorias were not involved in the cook-off as was reported in yesterday's Daily Examiner.
