RUGBY LEAGUE: The Mackay Cutters will keep the tag of underdog when it clashes with Norths on Saturday, despite a dominating defensive display against Sunshine Coast last weekend.

Last year's wooden spoon side stunned the Sea Eagles to book a berth in the preliminary finals and now faces a Devils outfit which beat minor premiers Souths Logan 20-16 last weekend.

"I think Norths are the favourites; the pressure is all on them," Cutters chief executive Jamie McDonald said. "We've got nothing to lose."

Coach Paul Bramley has been forced into making two changes for the televised game at Bishop Park.

Front rower Zac Dalton has been recalled to fill the void left by Luke Fatnowna, who suffered knee damage last weekend while Ben Harris returns to the state league in place of fellow dual registered North Queensland Cowboy Shannon Gallant (ankle). …
