Titans Fanatic Gets an Inking; TRUE BELIEVER: Finals Time Sinks in for Local Supporter Peter Burles

FANATIC Gold Coast Titans supporter Peter Burles is wearing his heart on his sleeve.

Literally.

The Tweed Heads West resident is sporting fresh ink in support of his favourite team on his right forearm.

The passionate fan unveiled his Titans team emblem and name tattoos yesterday, ahead of tomorrow night's do-or-die clash against the New Zealand Warriors in the NRL semi-finals at Skilled Park.

But the 58-year-old said there was still room on his arm for a long list of premierships titles, starting with 2010.

"The Titans are the most stable bunch of the lot and I hope they can do these tattoos justice," Mr Burles said.

"They've had a stand out season and I believe they will take home the premiership this year."

The Labor Party Tweed branch president said his tattoos manage to cause a stir wherever he goes.

"It gets a lot of comments from people, most of them just look at it and think it's a temporary tattoo," he said. …
