IT'S BEEN almost 30 years since the Hoodoo

Gurus got together in Sydney to play their first a[approximately]show' in an inner city lounge room.

Dave and the boys have come a long way since then, creating an impressive body of work, touring worldwide and attracting a devoted fan base.

It all started with their first single a[approximately]Leilani' followed by the album a[approximately]Stoneage Romeos' which was named Australian Debut Album of the Year.

From there Dave Faulkner, Brad Shepherd, Mark Kingsmill and Rick Grossman have enjoyed playing sell-out shows across Europe, the USA and performed some memorable shows at London's Hammersmith Palais.

In 1986 the Hoodoo Gurus released what was to become their highest charting single a a[approximately]What's My Scene'.

When this song was picked up by the NRL in 2003, with the reworked lyrics of a[approximately]That's My Team', the song a[approximately]went viral' and drew new fans to the Hoodoos as well as NRL. …
