300 Grandparents Attend College Function

MORE than 300 grandparents gathered for the annual Scots PGC College Grandparents' Day held in the junior and middle schools.

A concert was held in the assembly hall with Amelia Cowley (Year 8) and Rhys Donald, (Year 4), compering the morning.

The program included the junior and middle school choir, members of the college pipes and drums performing pipe and drums solos and melodies, junior school musical cast members performed Putting on the Ritz, The Pizza Co Oliver Breadmore and Patrick McCosker (Year 3), Oompah Loompah puppet show and an exciting dance routine by Sarah Bourke, Shayne Hayes, Tiffany Cullen, Brooke Field and Lachlan Doherty.

Individual performances included those by: Year 7 pupil Harrison West, who recited A Bush Christening; David McDonald sang and played guitar to Sweet Home Alabama, accompanied on guitar by teacher Mike Keevers; Year 8 student Kasey Charlton recited Granny and The Snake, and Sarah Atkinson sang Somewhere over the Rainbow accompanied by Year 12 student Amelia Holmes. …
