Tim Tebow isn't just a popular guy in Jacksonville as a whole. He's also a popular guy in Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio's home.

"Other than when he hits a golf ball in my backyard, which he does from time to time," Del Rio said. "My dog even likes him. She gets to chew on the balls he knocks in my backyard."

"When you take a guy that's really never done anything other than win, it's hard to feel bad about making that decision," McDaniels said.

Tebow finished the preseason with a better passer rating than Quinn, but Tebow missed one game with a rib injury. He completed 25-of-39 passes for 344 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. …
