ATOP nursery for girls is opening its doors to welcome prospective pupils. Rainbow Hill Nursery at Durham High School for Girls is a purpose-built nursery - with access to an outdoor learning area - staffed by warm and friendly professionals.

It promises to make an exciting environment a home from home for your daughter.Staff at the nursery believe in looking after the needs of each individual in its care - they believe a happy, stimulated child is one who can learn quickly and achieve success.

There are still places available in the nursery. Girls may start when they are three years of age and can take up part-time and full-time places.

Staff say you can be assured of an excellent continuous education at Durham High School for Girls from three to 18 years.

After-school care is free of charge up to 5.30pm and Early Years funding is given for up to 15 free hours per week.

In a recent school inspection by ISI (March 2010), the school was delighted that the Foundation Stage, which includes Nursery and Reception, achieved 'Outstanding' in all aspects of its provision. …
