HOLLYWOOD goddess Nicole Kidman and her husband, country music star Keith Urban, have just spent a happy fortnight renting a [pounds sterling]1,700-a-week beachside villa in the Bahamas. The fully serviced threebedroom Kamalame Cay property, for sale at [pounds sterling]1.34 million through Chesterton Humberts, includes the use of a 50ft freshwater pool, tennis court, sea kayak and sand chariot.

"Nicole wanted somewhere very private to stay, with everything laid on so that she didn't have to lift a finger," says the agent. The Titianhaired daughter of an Australian clinical psychologist has four homes: a mansion overlooking Sydney Harbour, a 110-acre New South Wales cattle ranch, a 36-acre farm near Nashville, Tennessee and a pad in Los Angeles. The Urbans are also reported to have just spent $10 million on a three-bedroom Manhattan penthouse overlooking the Hudson River.

SALLY Riley, the sassy literary agent behind author Helen Fielding, is selling her Victorian two-bedroom Wandsworth maisonette for [pounds sterling]425,000 through Sullivan Thomas. She and her husband, former West End couturier and wit Tom Gilbey, have already spent [pounds sterling]695,000 on a nearby four-bedroom house. "Our new place overlooks Wandsworth Common, which is perfect for exercising our puppy Waistcoat [pronounce Westcot] and is dangerously near Chez Bruce," says Riley, who has also helped the likes of Mark Haddon and Sebastian Faulks. She and her husband also own a two-bedroom seaside home near Cowes, Isle of Wight and have converted a railway carriage there for summer lets to yachties. …
