I'm A Weight Watcher

I was looking into the mirror, and not liking what I did see

For standing there looking back, was a resemblance of me

Did I look like that when I was young, I questioned the thought

The answer was an emphatic no, my stomach was more taut

There has to be something I can do, to get myself back in shape

To help me achieve my goals, I will buy a good measuring tape

I placed that tape around my tummy, and with a gasp did inhale

What I saw at the end of the tape, made my face turn real pale

Hopping on the bathroom scales, my stomach did a sudden jump

There was enough fat on me, and that excess I just had to dump

Exercise is what I am going to need, to shed all this extra waste

Will cut back on all those calories, shall do so with much haste

Opened the refrigerator door, to see what I could find for lunch

Had to be something there, for my starving system to munch

There were meat pies, pastry tarts, and other fatty things galore

All the different types of food lines, that weight watchers deplore

Located the local bicycle shop, and purchased myself a new bike

The dealer looked at my large size, and wanted to sell me a trike

I rode that machine down the street, and achieved quite a speed

Had exceeded the 30ks limit, the policeman with radar did read

You could have run over children, the magistrate sternly stated

He then fined me three hundred dollars, with that I nearly fainted

Today I am going to the football game, to raise my voice and shout

Let the others use up their energy, and I will just sit and pig out
