ADAMSON (Durham). Peacefully at home with his family on October 12th, Michael Gilbert M.B.E., loved husband of Marian (nee Coleman), loving dad of John and Helen, loving grandpa of Jordan, Lauren, Grace, Charlotte and Emily. Friends please meet for service in St.

John's Church, Nevilles Cross, Durham on Monday October 18th at 12.30pm, cremation to follow. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Macmillan Nurses c/o Stuart Wright Funeral Service, Gilesgate, Durham.

BLACKETT (Canada). Late of Blakelaw. Thomas Edward, died 26th June 2010, aged 62, at home in Coquitlam, Canada. Much loved husband of Mary and brother to Ken, Pauline and Paul. All family and friends welcome to Westerhope Golf Club on 29th October 2010 at 1.00pm to celebrate his life.

Peacefully at home on October 13th, Arnold, aged 73 years, beloved husband to Pamela, loving father to David and Mark, father in law to Clare and Ange and a much loved granda. Cortege to leave the residence on Wednesday October 20th. Will friends please meet for service at the Parish Church of St. Mary and St. Cuthbert at 10.00am, prior to cremation at Durham Crematorium. BROWN (Longhorsley). Peacefully on 13th October, aged 84 years, Ray, husband of the late Laura, loving father to Michael, Lorraine and Mandy and devoted grandad to Ricky. Service at St. James' Church, South Charlton on Wednesday 20th October at 2.00pm, followed by interment in the church yard.

HENDERSON (High Heaton). Peacefully in Walkergate Hospital on 11th October 2010, aged 78 years, Margaret, beloved wife of John and mother of Stuart. Would family and friends please meet for Funeral Service and cremation at the West Road Crematorium on Tuesday 19th October at 11.15am. Family flowers only please by request. The family wish to thank all the staff of Ward 4, Walkergate Hospital for all the care and attention of Margaret.

Peacefully in hospital on 13th October, aged 92 years, Jean (nee Willis), beloved wife of the late Adam, much loved mother of Joan and Dianne and brother in law of Roy and Arthur and a devoted grandmother of Louise, David, Fiona and Andrew.
