Braving Cold to Secure Tickets; FANS CAMP OUT FOR 3 CONCERTS

CROWDS of concert fans braved a night outdoors to be the first to get hands on tickets for three major gigs.

Scores of people, many of whom had camped out overnight, were outside the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle, as tickets for Enrique Iglesias, boy band JLS and comedian Lee Evans went on sale today.

Enrique is kicking off the first leg of his Euphoria tour at the Arena on March 21 next year. Tickets for a third date for XFactor finalists JLS, on January 26, also went on sale.

At the front of the queue was Lindsey Carr, 23, from Gateshead.

The sales assistant, of Deckham, camped from 1am this morning.

She said: "I've followed JLS since they were in X-Factor. I think they are great.

"I've seen them from the front row loads of times before and I just couldn't go to a gig unless I was in the front row.

"I'm going to the other two dates as well. I've camped out loads of times before, I've even swapped my shift three times today just to able to be here. …
