Creed Puts His Colour in Race; Drags Take on New Meaning with Dare

HE has played AFL, cricket, football, competed in cycle races, triathlons and masters swimming, now John Creed is going to dabble in drag racing.

Before everyone jumps to conclusions and suspects Creed will be driving a speed machine down the 1/8 mile (200 metre) drag strip at Warwick Dragway, he will be dressed as a drag queen, not as a driver.

He is a drag queen for a day after admitting he said a touch too much while broadcasting on a recent sports hour on Rainbow 893 FM.

Creed and Redbacks AFL football operations manager Colin Pope were on air with Murray Collins when this weekend's 10th annual Dragfest was discussed.

Pope is more than happy to tell the story.
