SOME VITAL FACTS

WHAT: The grand final of the inaugural Miss Crave 2011 competition gets under way. A sting of heats has been held at The Code, Mainstreet and Doors nightclubs every Friday night during October to select 12 finalists for the big event.

WHERE: Doors nightclub, where it won't be Halloween ghouls, but they'll be swapping them for gorgeous glamazons.

WHEN: The action gets under way at 9.30pm tomorrow, so be early to secure your front-row position for the final of this great competition.

PRIZES: The 12 finalists will appear in the 2011 Crave Calendar with the overall winner receiving prizes worth almost $4000. The winner's booty includes a six-hour photo portfolio shoot on Brampton Island, Gold Coast holiday, hair and make-up sessions, movie tickets and gift vouchers for lingerie, haircare and shopping.

TOMORROW may be Halloween night, but Doors nightclub will be swapping ghouls for glamazons when the grand final of the inaugural Miss Crave 2011 competition gets under way.

Heats have been held at The Code, Mainstreet and Doors nightclubs every Friday night during October, to select the 12 finalists who will compete for the coveted title of Miss Crave 2011.

Each of the 12 finalists will appear in the 2011 Crave Calendar with the overall winner receiving prizes to the value of almost $4000. As well as being included in the calendar during the month of their choice, the winner's prize booty includes a six hour on-location photographic portfolio shoot on Brampton Island, a five-night holiday on the Gold Coast, professional hair and make-up sessions, movie tickets and gift vouchers for lingerie, haircare and shopping.

Joining me on the Miss Crave judging panel over the past three weeks have been the Daily Mercury's advertising manager Glenis Wilson, former Miss Indy Rochelle Wilson, Steven Trail from Nu-tanks, Robert Faux from Driversmart and Single White Male from Crave Magazine, Tom Williams.

Entrants have been judged on criteria including poise, confidence, presentation and personal style. Standards in each of the three heats have been extremely high, making the selection process difficult for the judges. …
