MIDDLESBROUGH make just two changes as they seek back-to-back wins tomorrow.

After toppling leaders Stockport last weekend with by far their best performance of the season, Boro visit a Sandal side which has settled well into National Three North after winning promotion last season.

Wingers Paul Norris and Peter Whitaker return to the side in place of Michael Thornburn and Tom Bivens.

Skipper Peter Wright said: "We had lads missing last week, yet still played superbly.

for places as possible and, after the way we played against Stockport, there will be some good players having to play in the second team.

"This is a very competitive division where all teams can beat each other and we want to get into the top four or five.

"To do that we will have to consistently play as well as we did last week.

"For me at scrum-half it was great to stand behind the ruck, looking along the line ready to take the game to Stockport.

"That's the way we want to play. Pass the ball well when there is something on, and recycle it when there isn't. We have set the standard now, and must maintain it."

Billingham defended much better than they have done of late, with Dave Robinson and Paul Burgum making a particularly impressive second row pairing with their power and tackling ability.

Brett Wildridge will again play in the second team as he eases his way back from a hamstring injury.

To earn only their second win of the season Billingham must beat a strong Chester side who have chalked up seven victories already.

Successive defeats have plunged Stockton down from second place into mid-table in Durham and North One. …
