THE plan of Buderim's Bowden family to revamp the Big Pineapple looks set to be a roaring success if the initial response to the plans is any indication.

Dan Bowden said he had received more than 3000 emails since news broke that the family had bought the jaded tourist attraction to showcase publicly the family's car collection.

He said the emails from car clubs and individuals throughout Australia had all been positive and supportive of the family's plans.

"It's been mostly car people. The car community is huge. Mainly car people from all over Australia. It's really nice that people take the time to write," he said.

Mr Bowden and staff are attempting to respond to all the emails.

"If people take the time to write, I think it's rude if you don't respond," he said.

Mr Bowden said car clubs and enthusiasts had indicated their interest in visiting the proposed attraction once it was opened.
