Article excerpt

IT'S 3,500 and counting for Be Enterprising - that's the milestone figure recently passed by the innovative programme which has helped more than 3,500 people to create their own jobs since its launch in 2007.

The programme is part-financed by the European Union's ERDF Competitiveness Programme 2007-13, after securing pounds 4.1m ERDF investment through regional development agency One North East.
