IT'S a must-win game for Jarrow when they line up against championship challengers Easington Colliery at Perth Green, writes MALCOLM PRATT.

The South Tynesiders' recent inconsistent form has seen them drop to seventh and manager Dave Bell was distinctly unhappy with last week's performance. He said: "I was disappointed at the manner of our defeat. One of the worst feelings a manager can have is to come away from a game feeling your side has not competed and that was how the management team felt last Saturday.

"One thing's for sure, we'll have to play a lot better today if we are to defeat Easington and keep in touch with the leading pack."

Stephen Cockburn, Mark Brocklehurst, Daryl Turnbull and Nicky Payne all come into Bell's plans but Easington have Barry Turton and Paul Taylor out.

Third-placed Ryhope CW have the chance to close in on leaders New Marske , who are on cup duty.

The Wearsiders lost ground last week and today line up against Annfield Plain at Derwent Park where manager Martin Swales welcomes back Neil Atkinson, who has been sidelined for 10 weeks. …
