INTERNATIONAL Day of People with Disability is celebrated worldwide on December 3 recognising the achievements and contributions of people with disabilities.

IDPwD brings together people with disability and the general community.

What a shame the QT chose this day to have a headline "Sick City".

There are many people within our city who support people who receive a Disability Support Pension.

It would have been more appropriate for the newspaper to have highlighted the many wonderful supports and IDPwD events that were occurring on the day.

I was greatly offended by this headline.

Ipswich has a long history of supporting people with disabilities and it was both offensive and insensitive that the QT labelled these people as "sick".
