Cup Finalists to Be Determined by Rain

ANOTHER rainy weekend has put yet more of a dampener on our already frustrating season.

If only the Aussies could have been so lucky!

Given that this weekend there is expected to be more rain, the final spots for the NewsMail Cup finale will already be decided.

Also starting next Monday are the state under-15 championships in town.

Games will be played at Salter Oval and Kendall's Flat.

There will be quite a number of visitors in town supporting their boys from all over the state, so it will be a good opportunity to get along to one of the venues to watch some great cricket.

The local team, Wide Bay that is, is chock-full of talent, but as we all know, if they don't play as a team winning will prove difficult.

With the Aussie batsmen playing for their futures at the moment, it is never more obvious what happens when a cricket team can't play as a team.
