Carlisle United....................................... 0 Dagenham & Redbridge ....................... 2 DAGENHAM & Redbridge looked anything but League One strugglers as they came to Brunton Park with a game plan to frustrate that eventually gained them the upper hand and a thoroughly deserved second away win of the season.

The signs that things weren't going to go Carlisle's way came as early as the third minute when Ben Marshall broke through only to be thwarted by an athletic block from veteran keeper Tony Roberts.

Clear-cut chances were few and far between with neither keeper really facing too much of a test as the game appeared to be heading for a disappointing stalemate.

But a near-miss from a volley from Carlisle substitute Matt Robson spurred the visitors into life and Colchester loanee Medy Elito made his move across the face of a stunned Cumbrian defence as the quick counter-attack brought the opening goal with less than 10 minutes left to play. …
