Verdict:

IT has been dubbed by some critics as the avoyage of the yawn treadera.

I'm not entirely sure we were in the same cinema, as this film in The Chronicles of Narnia series is anything but boring.

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is by far the most action-packed and well-executed of the three Narnia movie adaptations and the 3D element is utilised superbly.

Based on the third of CS Lewis's beloved Narnia novels, the film opens in wartime England where young Lucy and Edmund are stuck sharing a house with their tiresome cousin Eustace.

Upon staring at a painting of an old sailing vessel, they find themselves drawn into Narnia by the crew of the very ship on which they had been gazing.

Cue a host of mythical beasts, a few old favourites such as Prince Caspian and Reepicheep, and a series of rollicking adventures and exciting escapes with scary beasts and curious creatures. …
