WHEN Maryborough shop owner Bill Knight got hit with a $470-something council bill for a second water access to cover his little twin-tub sink in his corner store, he vowed it was C[pounds sterling]money going down the drainC[yen].

Mr Knight said he did have two green bins Co one for his house and one for his shop, which is attached to his house Co for several years.

C[pounds sterling]But because I only ever fill half of one bin I wrote to the council's CEO Andrew Brien asking him to please remove the second bin because I never used it.
