ALAN PARDEW says he has a meeting planned with managing director Derek Llambias planned to discuss January transfer targets.

Despite talk that Pardew was interested in Rickie Lambert from Southampton and Landon Donovan, the duo are not understood to be on the new manager's radar.

And he admits that he needs big characters in Toon to continue building for the future at St James' Park.
