our other favourites. Bobbi Tyne Watson, 10, from Stanley, County Durham, drew a reindeer pulling a sleigh full of presents, followed by Santa Claus, heading towards a young girl.

A whole class from Bede Community Primary School in Gateshead took part in the competition.

Their entries included one from Denzel Mae Faeldo, nine, who sent an imaginative design showing Father Christmas delivering presents, and a table with a drink and a biscuit which, no doubt, had been left out for him.

Wi n n e r Six-year-old Leah Devereux from New Harley, Northumberland, drew a bright Christmas tree, reindeer and presents.

And her eight-year-old sister, Eve, sent a colourful picture which featured the three kings bearing gifts. Thank you to everyone who entered the competition and helped spread festive cheer to our readers.

WE were delighted with the response to our Christmas Eve design competition and today we can reveal the winner.
