BOUNCING baby Samuel is already geared up to follow in his dad's footsteps as a stonemason.

Parents Ellie and Simon Turner knew their son was built for the same career as his 30-year-old dad after seeing the size of his hands.

Ellie said: "His father has got massive hands, and one of the first things we said about Sam when we saw him was how big his hands were - he's definitely built to be a stonemason." The proud mum and dad, of Fenham, Newcastle, were ready to be welcomed to parenthood when Samuel Francis came along weighing a healthy 9lb 2oz on September 19 at 8.55pm. And 31-year-old Ellie said that husband Simon, who runs S Turner Stonemasonry, was the perfect birthing partner during the 21-hour labour.
