HEALTH AND FITNESS EXPO TO BE AT JULINGTON CREEK

Julington Creek Plantation will host its third annual Health & Fitness Expo from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8.

There will be exhibitors from all areas of health and fitness, speakers, free tests, giveaways and drawings. A bounce house and activities for kids will be featured as well.

'A NIGHT IN THE CARIBBEAN' TO BENEFIT GRIFFIN HOUSE

The Betty Griffin House will hold "A Night in the Caribbean" from 6-11 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, at the Sawgrass Resort and Spa in Ponte Vedra Beach.

There will be silent and live auction items, including trips to tropical destinations.

Dinner includes Jamaican, Cuban and Bahamian food stations and a cash bar. Tickets cost $75 per person or $600 for a table of 10. Call Kim Brumfield at (904) 808-8544 to reserve seats.

'CHOCOLATE AND BEYOND' GALA SET FOR FEB. 5

The 18th annual "Chocolate and Beyond" RSVP Gala will take place from 6:30-9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at the St. Augustine Shores Riverview Club in St. Augustine. A parade of delicacies, including chocolate and desserts, will be available from many of the area's finest restaurants and specialty shops. A live and silent auction, entertainment, raffle and contests will also take place.

"Chocolate and Beyond" is hosted by the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of St. Johns County, and all proceeds benefit the program. Tickets are available for $20 each and can be purchased by calling (904) 547-3945.

CHURCH FASHION SHOW AND LUNCHEON COMING FEB. 12

Our Lady of Good Counsel will host a fashion show and luncheon on Saturday, Feb. 12, from noon-2 p.m. Admission is $25 in advance and $30 at the door. GOLF TOURNAMENT BENEFITS AREA'S STUDENT-ATHLETES

Atlas Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine will host its first Sports Medicine Scramble on Sunday, March 13.

The charity golf tournament will be held at St. Johns Golf & Country Club and will benefit student/athletes at Bartram Trail and Creekside high schools.
