THE sympathy of all players and clubs goes out to St Oswald's who have suffered the death of a second player this season.

The Newcastle side lost Lee Turner at the beginning of the season when he died on the pitch playing for the team.

And since the last league games in November, goalkeeper Callum Small has died from meningitis at the age of 21.

He had played in the league for five years.

Andy Logan scored a first half goal for St Oswald's against St John's Snods Edge in a match governed by the windy conditions.

Snods Edge equalised through Michael Clarke with a couple of minutes remianing.

But that gave Andy Logan time to plunder a last-gasp winner for St Oswald's.

In the Premier Division St Peter''s Low Fell went 2-0 up against Bethany City Church, with goals from Chris Taylor and Chris Fleming.

Paul Robinson pulled a goal back for Bethany before the half-time break.

The only goal in the second half was from Peter Sutherland as St Peter''s won 3-1. …
