FEEDBACK is important in any industry. And builders Dunelm say that feedback from buyers and potential buyers has led them to redesign the second phase of one of their North East developments.

They say the redesign has resulted in a redraw which now includes 16 two and three-bedroom, two-storey homes with gardens at their Bailey Grange development at Killingworth, North Tyneside. Sales executive Mo Williams explained: "We have found that the first and second-time buyers visiting the development want to have their own garden and front door. This feedback has led to the redesign of the development. The value for money is outstanding and that is reflected in the interest we are receiving."

The developer says it has witnessed such high demand that it has released phase two early and that buyers are now picking plots off plan.

It is offering a package on the development, known as "designer choice", for first-time buyers which includes carpets, curtains, freestanding fridge and freezer, a washing machine, a flat screen television and turf to the back garden. …
