Recycling Firm Just Keeps on Growing
J&B RECYCLING Ltd continues to experience growth in its market share throughout the UK and has created 44 jobs in the last 12 months including positions in operations, administration, and sales.
The company's main main aim is to divert as much waste as possible away from landfill sites, by increasing the levels and types of waste that can be recycled. Not only does this help the environment, it can also reduce the costs to businesses of waste removal from their premises and enables local authorities to improve the range of materials that can be collected via their kerbside recycling schemes.
Redcar and Cleveland, Hartlepool, and Stockton Borough Councils have all been able to increase the types of plastics they collect from households which now also include spread tubs, yoghurt pots, punnet, and trays; they now also collect beverage cartons along with the usual cardboard. This has been made possible in the last 12 months by J&B Recycling which uses sophisticated plant and equipment to sort mixed kerbside materials at its Material Recycling Facility (MRF) in Hartlepool and the secure long-term end use markets it has for such materials.
