You'll love it even more when you discover that its most famous former resident was God himself.

Originally a wooden church in Ravensbourne, the building was transported into Toowoomba and became the place of worship for the Assembly of God congregation.

Now bricked in and fully converted to a home, it still maintains a certain charm which only old churches can have.

The front foyer, for instance, is clearly the old vestry.

A bedroom at the front once acted as a cloakroom and a storage area for hymn books.

The lounge was the body of the church, the original coloured glass window the site of the altar.

A laundry and very stylish bathroom (complete with spa tub) were once the his'n'hers bathroom facilities for the congregation.

And the kitchen and dining room in all likelihood housed the younger children during the Sunday School lessons. …
