Business Powering Recovery; Flood Victims in Need to Receive RT Edward Vouchers

WITH many families still doing it tough after January's catastrophic floods, Ipswich businesses have reached out with donations to help them get back on their feet.

Stockboker RBS Morgans has donated $10,000 worth of gift vouchers, which can be used at Ipswich electrical outlet RT Edwards.

RBS Morgans Ipswich manager Tony Russell said the donation equated to 33 vouchers, ranging in value from about $200 to $400.

The vouchers will be distributed through the Fernvale School, with staff holding personal knowledge of which families are most in need of assistance.

Mr Russell said the funds came out of the RBS Morgans Foundation, which had earlier donated $20,000 to the Ipswich Flood Appeal. C[pounds sterling]We have been doing business for 13 years in Ipswich and the surrounding communities,C[yen] Mr Russell said.
