Rampaging Brother Faces Attempted Murder Charge

A MAN is facing attempted murder charges after allegedly trying to mow his two brothers down in a four-wheel-drive.

Police allege 58-year-old Leslie Roland Paroz went on a rampage in his Nissan Patrol at a property at Mutdapilly Co 20 minutes drive south of Ipswich Co on Tuesday morning, deliberately smashing into three other vehicles and a house, while also aiming his vehicle at his two siblings.

Even more bizarre is the allegation that Paroz's Patrol was also towing a horse float Co with a horse inside Co when he committed the offences.

The complainants told police that they were forced to take evasive action to avoid being run down by the four-wheel-drive, which police said was sporting a bull bar.

Ipswich Criminal Investigation Branch Acting Detective Sergeant Kerry McQuilty said Paroz then left the property on Mutdapilly Dip Road and headed towards his home at Laidley, where he was later arrested. …
