WILSONTON father-of-four Scott Richard Englart was drugged and had his throat slit before his body was dumped in bushland.

More horrific details of the ongoing investigation in Mr Englart's killing emerged yesterday.

Mr Englart's body was discovered in bushland at Ravensbourne on Tuesday afternoon after he was reported missing by his father on Monday night.

Mr Englart's four children a[pounds sterling] Ethan, 7, Abigail, 6, Jesse, 4, and Nathaniel, 1 a[pounds sterling] were found abandoned in bushland near their father's body.

Mr Englart, 33, was visiting his children and recently separated wife Melissa at her home in Goulds Rd, Cabarlah.

It is believed Mr Englart was drugged while at the Cabarlah residence and later had his throat slit on Monday.

His body was then dumped at Ravensbourne.

Police initially issued a Child Abduction Alert for the four children as there were grave concerns for their safety after Melissa Englart, 36, was seen leaving her Cabarlah home with the children at 8am on Tuesday. …
