Wales Is the Only Thing on Skipper's Mind

JOHN Terry has put the England captaincy issue to one side and insists getting the Euro 2012 qualifying campaign back on track by defeating Wales today is of paramount importance.

Terry will lead out the side at the Millennium Stadium for the first time since being reinstated in place of Rio Ferdinand.

He will inevitably be under the spotlight at the start of what be his third spell as permanent captain of his country.

But Terry knows England have to have the right mentality and attitude to ensure there is no slip-up against a side ranked 116th in the world and who have lost their opening three group games.

Terry said: "Of course, it's a nice touch for me again to be receiving the armband and leading the team out as well.

"As a boy, this is what I've dreamed of and thankfully I've got the armband back.

"But, for me, the most important thing tomorrow is coming away with the win.

"That's how I am as a person and that's the main thing for us as a group of players, to go back top of this qualifying group. …
