THE Rest Point Hotel Fishing Club members went out at the weekend but with the weather not the best there was no going out in open ocean.

This has gone on for too long ... it would great to see the boats out again.

With the conditions on offer, most opted for beach, rock and estuary action.

Brendon Baynham got himself a nice boat so he needed some company to take it out for the first time so Mort and Tyrepower volunteered to lend a hand at B.R. estuary.

It was mentioned it was a bit rough so Mort said apull the anchor up and we will movea.

Brendon, being a strong lad, pulled the anchor up but on the way it turned and hit Tyrepower on the head (must be a new way to christen a boat).

Tyrepower had a nice red mark and bruising but he still managed to get to the weigh-in and they all had a catch of fish.

Brendon won the day with his catch and still got bream from down river.
