TOMORROW Sandy James will be lacing up her shoes for a worthy cause.

A pastor with the Boyne Tannum Christian Church, Mrs James is co-ordinating the 2011 Teen Challenge Live Free Walk for the Gladstone region.

It is the second year Mrs James has participated in the walk, an event that aims to raise money and awareness of Teen Challenge's Young Women's Treatment facility in Toowoomba.

All funds raised from the walk benefit Teen Challenge and the work it carries out with young women aged 16-25 years facing substance abuse issues.

C[pounds sterling]It's an initiative run through the churches and is such a worthy cause,C[yen] Mrs James said.

Mrs James is calling on fellow Gladstone region residents to take part in the walk.
