A YOUNG Kandanga man who turned up to Gympie Magistrates Court on Thursday to deal with seven serious traffic offences was taken into custody because he was deemed a danger to others on the road.

Jared Beau Davies, 29, is now being held in custody until he faces three separate lots of charges for alleged driving offences committed within a week of each other.

On February 3 he was charged by Imbil police for driving without due care and attention on Kandanga Creek Rd.

He was also breathalysed, recording a high blood alcohol content reading of .153%.

Davies' licence was automatically suspended.

The next day he was stopped by an officer from the Gympie District Traffic Branch and charged with driving unlicensed on Amamoor Creek Rd.

Four days later on February 8, Imbil Police charged Davies with dangerous operation of his motor vehicle on Kandanga-Amamoor Rd and driving unlicensed. A subsequent breath test revealed he had a BAC of . …
