THE time has come. Looking at my aging countenance in mirrors dictates that I totally need to update my glasses.

Not only from a prescription perspective but the frame. I have fond recollections of round John Lennon frames and huge Joan Collins leopard-spot frames over the years.

Alas, the world of fashionable optometry has tricked me into wearing these small, oblong things that I really do not like. (simply because they are the fashion and I could find nothing else!) They make me look like a more severe old bat than I really am, so I have been on the search for something a little... well... asoftera.

Whoo Hoooa[degrees]I found a pair of frames last week I ahad to havea. I also need an eye test, which has been booked. So folks, hopefully very soon my severe old lady look will change to a more acceptable countenance.

After the glasses, came the thought a[degrees].hmmm aperhaps a few of those wrinkles could be sanded off and filled ina. …
