Children Warm to Play School Concert

THERE was the sound of tiny feet walking into the Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre yesterday morning.

For many excited kids it was their first concert and who better to see live than Big Ted, Little Ted and the rest of the Play School gang.

The show kicked of with the theme song C[pounds sterling]There's a bear in thereC[yen] before a hidden Big Ted popped out from behind the coloured blocks where he said hello to all the Mackay children.

During the concert it wasn't just the kids who were singing along to Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, and Hickory Dickory Dock, but the parents, who seemed to be having just as much fun as the children.

As the young fans took their seats in the auditorium it was only a matter of minutes before they were up on their feet dancing around to the singing of presenters Abi Tucker and Alex Papps.

Some of the dance moves included the Big Ted Twist and the Big Ted Shake, and the audience was awesome, with presenter Alex saying C[pounds sterling]Good twisting everybodyC[yen]. …
