MISSING MAN: NEW APPEAL; Family Speak out on National TV

THE heartbroken family of a missing Teesside man have appeared on national TV to appeal for help in finding him.

Dad-of-three Darren Waller, 36, hasn't been seen since he disappeared from the Rossmere area of Hartlepool on Sunday, January 9. In highly emotional scenes in Tuesday's episode of BBC programme Missing 2011, his ex-wife and three young daughters shared their anguish at his disappearance in the hope of sparking someone's memory.

An extensive police search for Darren has been carried out, to no avail, and investigations are ongoing.

During an interview on the programme, daughter Kayleigh, 16, said: "My sisters aren't the same since my dad went. They're always crying, they're always asking us where he's at, just asking us questions we can't answer."

As the family spoke to the host of the show, eight-year-old Ellie sobbed as older sister Kayleigh added: "He's more than a dad to me. I can go, I can talk to him about anything. …
