IT'S their cement paradise with beachfront views.

Every day after school and on weekends friends Dylan Harwood, Sam Ford, Joe Weaven and Jasper Smith can be seen skateboarding the half pipes at the Yeppoon Skate Park on Anzac Parade.

With anot much else to do in towna, the park keeps a lot of Yeppoon teens out of trouble and provides a place to meet friends and hang out.

So these skaters were ecstatic to hear $15,000 had been allocated by Rockhampton Regional Council in the upcoming budget for upgrades and repairs.

Cr Bill Ludwig yesterday said he was pleased funding for the park was finally considered, as Yeppoon and the Emu Park skate park were some of Capricorn Coast's most used facilities.

He calls on everyone who uses the park to meet with him on Monday at 4pm to hear their thoughts on how the money should be spent. …
